Photos of Hurricane Ridge

In Summer there is a shuttle that takes you from Port Angeles to the hurricane ridge, this is great for those of us who don't own a car, and if you take your bike the way down from hurricane ridge is awesome.

From Seattle you can take the ferry to Bainbridge island, then on the Bainbridge bus terminal take the Strait Shot bus (123) that takes you directly to Port Angeles where there is a connection to the hurricane ridge shuttle. One thing to note is that the bus can get pretty packed, i myself could not take the connection one and had to wait around 40 minutes for the next one.

Once in hurricane ridge you can bike to the start of the hurricane hill trail and go up hiking, it is quite nice.

Overall the trip costs about 30 USD. The strait shot is 10 one way and the ferry is around 10 as well. You will need to take the 9:30 AM ferry which will connect you with the strait shot and with the hurricane ridge shuttle, unfortunatelly there are not many options.
